If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.Proverbs: 21:13

Thank You from the Heart of Pain and Difficulties

As we approach Thanksgiving celebrations, it’s time to reflect and give thanks. And we are grateful for you.

You have helped us leverage the matching gift, generating a total of $75,647 to light up hard places! Together, we’re playing our parts to fan those lights into flame.

Our thanks hardly compares to the gratitude a dreamer recently expressed. I’ll let him thank you himself. You are as much a part of Dreams InDeed as any of us.

This visionary lost everything when he and 1.4 million others were run out of their homes under threat of death. He inspires a network of over 2000 volunteers, many of whom are refugees just like him, who sustain displaced mentally challenged people and their families. He told me:

“From the first moment that I met Dreams InDeed, and you stayed overnight with us in refugee housing, I felt I was in front of the Good Samaritan who knew that he must bend in order to carry the wounded to help him to have life again. He did not give him money only, but granted everything from love and tenderness and respect. You are the grace that God put in our path. I say this as a living testimony that Dreams InDeed is not a donor organization for money only, but a foundation whose message is to seek to achieve the dream of God and man together, in the heart of the pain and difficulties.”

Together, we are enabling visionaries to realize their dreams in the heart of pain and difficulties. Together, we are igniting lights in hard places.

Thankful together,
